This instrument features a .508 bore and an 8" sterling silver bell with a gold-plated internal bell section, providing a rich, warm tone while facilitating remarkable projection. 

The King 3B Silversonic is celebrated for its ability to produce vibrant tones at high registers, while maintaining a warm, full-bodied sound. It allows for impressive volume without compromising clarity, making it a favorite among professional musicians. 

This instrument in particular is in good cosmetic condition. There are some expected signs of wear at spots of high-contact. Beyond cosmetics, the instrument is in great playing condition. This trombone is perfect for a jazz trombonist looking for that warm, vintage sound. The serial number points to the manufacturing date as 1964.
