The P5-4BG offers a modified slide design originally created for acclaimed trumpet professors Barbara Butler and Charles Geyer, currently on faculty at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University.
The Schilke P5-4BG-HS features a very slight modification to the third slide. This popular alteration, performed at the Schilke factory, allows for additional options for holding the instrument.
