Sir Nigel

Security (Glenview location)

Nigel hails to us from Barb's Precious Rescue in Palatine, IL. He was severely underutilized as a mouser, since he had quite a lot of younger and sometimes cuter competition there. He had been living at the shelter for 3 long years after his previous owner passed away. Being an extra-large and senior cat, he was not living up to his full potential and was often overlooked at the shelter.

Since moving in at our Glenview location, Nigel has done an excellent job keeping away all rodent pests, as well as greeting customers and guests alike. He is very friendly and inquisitive, and will greet you and help you out with your shopping as best he can. We do, however, understand that customers may have allergies or sensitivities, or may simply be afraid of a rather large cat, and we are happy to make any necessary arrangements if a customer wishes to avoid Nigel for any reason.
