From Bach:

"Vincent Bach combined his unique talents as both a musician and an engineer to create brass instruments of unequalled tonal quality. Often copied but never duplicated, Bach Stradivarius instruments today remain the sound choice of artists worldwide. The Bach C180 series trumpets have truly defined the sound of symphonic brass in symphony orchestras throughout the world.

The Bach C180 series trumpets are the number one selling professional orchestral trumpets in the world. The C180SL229W30 features a #229 one-piece hand-hammered professional bell that produces a big, rich, slightly broader sound with great projection. The #25H leadpipe offers a free-blowing feel and a bigger tone with more flexibility. These features combined with a .462 large bore allow the player to produce a well-rounded sound well suited for all orchestral literature."

This horn can PLAY. We don't often see C trumpets come through in raw brass, but the finish of this instrument gives an absolutely incredible resonance that we rarely see on orchestral-type C trumpets. One would usually assume that an unlacquered finish would result in a very dark sound, but in this particular case, there is tonal color coming out of this horn that sounds like it could fit in anywhere. Come in and try it out for yourself! You will not be disappointed.

Our professional brass technician ultrasonically cleaned this horn, lubed the valve and slides, play-tested it, and gave it their stamp of approval. It's here waiting for you, so don't delay! The next person who comes in to play on it might not want to put it back!
