What a fantastic piccolo trumpet! This Benge 5X piccolo trumpet (made in Los Angeles) is in great cosmetic and playing condition. Its lacquer finish will give it a nice warm response as opposed to the piercingly bright tone of some of its silver plated cousins. Everything is sealing perfectly, and the horn gives that super satisfying "pop" when a slide gets pulled, and all slides and valves are moving freely and easily. Some minor lacquer wear can be spotted on the bell, most notably behind the first valve, and then a few tiny spots down the throat and flare. The finger buttons and top caps are showing some lacquer as well, which should be expected of a 40+ year old horn. 

Our professional brass technician gave this horn an ultrasonic bath, re-lubed all the slides, and gave it a thorough play-test to make sure everything was up to snuff.
