Need a solid double horn in great cosmetic condition that is priced way way below the average new French horn? You found it! This horn is in the intermediate level, making it ideal for the advancing student, or the amateur adult player. There are placed you can go from this horn, but if you're sticking to educational or casual settings, this horn is for you. It's got a nice warm tone, and it's in great cosmetic condition. Some lacquer wear can be found on the outer branch/bell throat where some previous soldering work was done, and the finger paddles are showing some lacquer wear as well. Some other minor scuffs can be found on the instruments' bell throat, and on the tuning slide crooks, all from regular use. 

A little bit of work was required to prep this French horn for sale. Our professional brass technician resoldered a brace connecting the leadpipe to the body of the instrument, and then disassembled the entire horn to give it an ultrasonic bath. After lubing, reassembly, and a play-test, this horn is all ready to go! It comes with a hard case that has an odd underside handle, but it protects the horn very well.
