This Blessing M-100 mellophone is in good playing condition, and is showing some cosmetic wear, as most used marching instruments do. Its silver plate finish is showing signs of wear, most notably around the valve section and the upper outer tuning slide tube. There are scratches in the finish on the inner and outer bell, but no scratches are deep enough to fully penetrate the silver plate. There's also plating wear on the finger buttons, mainly on the 1st and 2nd buttonis. Some minor dings and dents were left in the horns leadpipe and outer wrap, as they would have required major surgery. However, all of these issues are cosmetic and do not impact this instrument's playability in any way. In short - this horn has seen a lot of use, but has a lot of life left in it! 

Our professional brass technician needed to work out some larger dents in the bell, and then disassembled, cleaned, and polished the horn to get everything moving freely and easily.
