"Professional in quality and performance, similar to the 6H Victor but with slightly smaller bore and bell. Beautiful tone, accurate intonation... ideal for both band and orchestra. Featurers "Crysteel Airfloat" slides... outside slides of special Conn bearing formular alloy. Slide lock for added safety."
This Conn 4H trombone is in good used condition. It is showing some signs of previous work, which is never a bad thing. This horn was serviced regularly and that goes for when it arrived in our shop, too. Our professional brass technician gave it an ultrasonic cleaning, and worked on the hand slide to make sure everything was aligned. There are some signs of wear on one of the inner slides, but the plating on the inner slides is largely intact. The raw brass finish showing through on the bell, hand slide, and gooseneck gives the instrument a lot of character, and it gives a nice contrast to the existing lacquer. It shows that this horn was used quite a lot, which speaks to its credit.
