Conn trombones have proven to be popular and reliable over their long history. Elkhart-era Conn trombones in particular are sought after by young and experienced players alike for their remarkable build quality and even response. The 8H is a great option for orchestral players looking for a smooth, vintage sound.
This trombone is overall in good cosmetic shape. There are some signs of wear in the lacquer, much of which is expected for a horn of its age, most notably on the bell and gooseneck. The 50s model handslide features a spring in first position in lieu of a slide lock, which moves smoothly. This trombone has been serviced by our professional brass technician and is in great playing condition.
