What an incredibly unique and interesting piece! Eclipse trumpets have only been around for 20 years so far, and they've made their mark on the trumpet community in a big way. This one in particular features their classic "MY" bell (medium throat, yellow brass), and has an absolutely beautiful brushed gold plate finish, with smooth gold plate on the braces, outer sides, and inner bell. One of the defining features of this horn is it's tunable bell - this horn has no traditional tuning slide coming off of its leadpipe. Players will need to tune this instrument with the bell crook, which was designed to help airflow make it through the horn without a taper adjustment right after the mouthpipe. Bell tuning tends to require a little more precision, any player will be able to adjust to this with relative ease. The combination of gold plate and the medium bell throat will make this horn bright, but also very clear and present, making it appropriate for any musical setting.
