Custom Series Tenor Trombones are available with either yellow or red brass bells. The professional weight hand slides are yellow brass with nickel silver end crooks and oversleeves. All Custom Series Tenor Trombones come with three interchangeable leadpipes to enable the player to further customize the response of the instrument to meet any need.

Axial flow valves have revolutionized the playing of the F attachment on the trombone. The operation of the valve keeps the air column entering the attachment relatively straight. This makes playing through the attachment much like playing through an open horn. Getzen high performance axial flow valves are smooth, quiet and easy to maintain."

This Getzen 3047AF is more than just a complete trombone outfit. In addition to the included original case and Schilke 51 mouthpiece, this trombone comes with 3 interchangeable leadpipes in 3 different tapers, and also includes a BRAND NEW 3047AFR rose brass bell. This trombone sells for nearly $5k brand new, and the brand new outfit from the factory only comes with the single bell, so this outfit comes with a TON of value. 

Out professional brass technician gave this instrument a full tear-down and ultrasonic cleaning, and also removed some very small pings from the bell throat. Cosmetically, this trombone is in great shape. There's a small amount of lacquer wear on the tube coming out of the valve section, and some small scratches on the bell and outer handslide, as well as a small spot of lacquer wear on the hand slide brace. Otherwise, this horn is in fantastic shape, and barely 6 years old. The included rose brass bell is brand new.
