This trumpet would be an asset to any player's loadout. Featuring an extra large bore and a raw brass finish, this Callet Grand Prix trumpet would be an excellent jazz horn for anyone looking for a dark, FAT sound. Built in the style of Besson's pre-war trumpets, this instrument was meant to be a modern take on a tried and true vintage configuration. Regardless of how close it sounds and feels to an old Besson, this trumpet is a serious player and anyone would be lucky to own it. 

This trumpet arrived here with the lacquer already stripped off, and with some signs of soldering work previously done on the pinky hook, the bell to receiver brace, and the 3rd valve slide braces. Our professional brass tech gave this trumpet an ultrasonic cleaning, scrubbing the trumpet inside and out, and polished up the raw brass. After a long play-test, this trumpet was given our tech's stamp of approval, and it's ready to go! Its fitted case is included and also shows some signs of previous repair around the bell section, but still does a good job of protecting the horn.
