From King, about the 3B:

"The King 3B trombone is built with a classic jazz trombone style in mind. It features a .508” bore for excellent control in all ranges of the instrument. The yellow brass bell offers a quick response. A vintage balancer and deluxe style bell engraving are included on this trombone. A sleek hard shell case protects this trombone when not in use. These king small bore straight trombones have set the standard in jazz performance for generations."

King's goal with the 3BF was to add some versatility to their already-famous model 3B. The F-attachment made the 3B more appropriate in a concert band setting, while still maintaining their seat on the throne of straight jazz trombone manufacturing.

This trombone has been serviced by our professional brass technician. An ultrasonic cleaning was in order to get it into good playing condition, and they smoothed out some dents in the outer slide and bell throat as well. The slide receiver also needed a bit of refitting. The horn got a lengthy play-test when it was completed, and it has our tech's stamp of approval. Some lacquer wear can be noted on the bell throat and on the main tuning slide. Additional lacquer wear will be found on the mouthpiece receiver, and on the hand slide braces (common for any trombone).

It's ready to go, so bring your favorite mouthpiece over and spend some time with this excellent instrument! Its original hard case is included, and shows some signs of use but it is still fully functional and does a good job of protecting the horn within.
