We are so excited to have a classic Martin Committee on our shelves! This is the 3rd generation of Martin Committee altos, and it plays just as beautifully as you'd expect from any of their Committee horns and at over 70 years old, this alto is still absolutely GORGEOUS. It is entirely likely that this instrument was re-lacquered, and 95% of the lacquer is still intact. It also comes with a brand new Reunion Blues padded gig bag to keep it protected. There are barely any signs of cosmetic wear throughout the body of the instruments. Some minor scratches on the neck may be noticed, but the wear is very minor. Simply put, this horn has a LOT of life left in it.

This Martin Committee has a great sound. It is big, crisp, edgy, and has that classic vintage sound collectors and players alike strive to find. With this big sound, the Martin company still was able to make the horn fairly light in the hands. This is a fun horn to play!

Our professional saxophone technician made some adjustments to get everything sealing, and also made sure all mechanisms were properly lubricated to give the keyword the speed that has come to be known as Martin's signature feel. It's ready to go, so come check it out today! Don't wait! It won't last long
