Selmer Bb/A Piccolo Trumpet
The Selmer Piccolo Trumpet was the piccolo trumpet for the longest time. Maurice André played a Selmer Piccolo Trumpet to perfection. While the Schilke and Scherzer piccolo trumpets have become the most sought after piccs made today, these old Selmers still get the job done, and do so with style. They have the sound, clarity and character that you want from a piccolo trumpet, whether it's for solos, chamber or orchestral music.
This instrument has been ultrasonically cleaned, lacquer is stripped, and serviced by our professional brass repair technician. It's in very good condition for its age, with only minimal cosmetic wear. While it was once a Bb/A Piccolo trumpet, it currently has a Blackburn S leadpipe in A only. Most likely there are plenty of Bb pipe options available if so desired.
