Ideal for a school or practice setting, the Yamaha YEP-321S has proven to be one of the best horns a budding euphonium player could hone their skills with. It has a beautiful, warm sound, and is incredibly responsive. This particular YEP-321S is an earlier model, and many players maintain that Yamaha's best instruments came out of their younger years.

This euphonium has seen A LOT of use, and it shows. However, the way that this horn plays and responds has not changed a bit - it still plays like the day it was born. Cosmetic blemishes can be found throughout this instrument, which is to be expected from a horn that has seen as much use as this one. Most notably, patches will be found on the leadpipe connecting to the valve section, and also on the 4th valve tuning slide knuckle. Beyond that, there is evidence of soldering work on many braces, and small dents up and down the instrument (most notably on the bell throat and tuning slide knuckles) that do not affect the instrument's playability in any way. Scratches and plating wear will also be found on the instrument's tuning slides and on the valve casings.

This euphonium has a lot of life left in it. Formerly a rental instrument, this horn was regularly serviced by our professional tech team, and it's ready to go. Come by Horn Stash today to spend some time with it!
