1 How we are dealing with COVID 19
1.1 What are your hours?

We are currently open Monday through Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday from 10am-4pm.

1.2 Are you still offering repairs?

Yes!

Our repair department (Fix This! Musical Instrument Repair, Inc) technicians are usually available to estimate your repair cost and time-frame when you drop off your instrument. If a repair tech is not available when you drop off your instrument, we will call you the next business day with an estimate.

If you have an emergency repair or a short time-frame for a repair need, it is best to call us at (847) 359-4444 to make sure a technician will be available when you visit. 

1.3 Do I need to wear a mask in the store?

Yes. 

Per Illinois requirements, all customers over the age of 2 will need to be wearing a mask to be admitted into the store.

1.4 Can I still try out instruments?

Yes, but instrument and accessory trials are now by appointment only.

We pride ourselves in our commitment to offer customers the ability try a variety of instruments to make a well-informed decision on what can often be a pricey instrument purchase. However, with that in mind, we need to be prepared both before and after your visit so that we can properly clean and prep instruments and trial rooms before and after your visit. At this time we request that anyone wanting to try instruments make an appointment at least 1 day before so that we can prepare for your visit.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding that we are no longer able to handle walk-in instrument or mouthpiece trials. If you have concerns about Covid-19 or are considered "high-risk", we ask that you not try any instruments or accessories at this time.
