1 How we are dealing with COVID 19
1.1 Are you still offering repairs?

Yes. Our woodwind and brass technicians are able to do repairs at this time. Please set up an appointment to bring your instrument in to us. If a repair tech is available while you are here, we will be able to give you an estimate. Otherwise we will call you.



Please allow extra time both when you drop off your instrument and after repair is complete to ensure health safety guidelines are being followed to sanitize your instrument.

1.2 Can I come to the store to pick up items that I need?

Yes, we will be open by appointment only. Please contact us either at (847) 359-4444 or [email protected] to set up an appointment. Appointments are highly recommended.

  • If you arrive during another customer's appointment, you will either need to wait outside or in your vehicle.
  • The door will be locked. Please knock and an associate will answer.
  • You will not be allowed to try instruments, mouthpieces, or ligatures during this time unless you have made prior arrangements.
1.3 How many people will be allowed in the store at a time?

Since we are only available by appointment, we will only be allowing one "group" in at a time. We highly encourage 3 or less customers in a group since our store is not very large to allow for social distancing.

1.4 Do I need to wear a mask in the store?

Yes, per Illinois requirements, all customers over the age of 2 will need to be wearing a mask to be admitted into the store.

1.5 Do you have curbside pick up?

Yes, we offer both in store pick up and contact less curbside pick up. When you put your order through our website, please select store pick. Once the order goes through, one of our associates will contact you to set up a time and confirm your method of pick up.

1.6 Can I return my rental instrument if the store is not open?

Yes, but you will need to make an appointment.

1.7 Can I still try out instruments?

Yes, but by appointment only. Again, only one group will be allowed in at a time. If you are in the store to drop something off or for an unrelated purchase, you will not be allowed to try anything out. This allows for our associates to be able to prepare instruments and disinfect to the best of our abilities between trials.


Please note, we can not guarantee 100% that every instrument will be virus free at the time of your trial. We will be sanitizing all instruments, but it is impossible to make sure that every inch and piece of every instrument is virus free. Risk is on customer for instrument trials at this time.
