This Bach 229/25H C trumpet arrived in our shop in generally good playing condition, but did require a little work before going up for sale. Our professional brass technician cleaned and lubed this horn, and also removed some dents from the bell crook. A small portion of the dent is still visible in the form of a scar, but playability is not impacted in any way. There's some faint plating wear forming around the valve casings, and what looks like some repaired plating wear on the upper outer tuning slide (not the leadpipe), and also on the upper and lower outer 3rd valve slides. It also looks like the pinky hook has been resoldered at some point in time. Both the spot plating and the soldering work was done before the horn arrived here. Generally, the plating on the rest of the instrument is in good shape, but does show some signs of use.
