From Bach:

"The Bach 36 trombone features an 8" one-piece hand-hammered yellow brass professional bell that offers a subtle brilliance with a complex color. The .525" medium-large bore offers outstanding clarity and balanced response.

The chrome-plated nickel silver inner handslide tubes provide the ideal surface for smooth and quick handslide action. The clear lacquer finish adds a subtle warmth to the sound overall. The Bach 36 professional trombone is ideal for both symphonic and solo performance."

Bach trombones are incredibly sought after - and for good reason! The Stradivarius line set a standard for nearly every brass instrument it included, and no one has been able to perfectly match this exact kind of quality so far, and that goes double for vintage Strads. This Bach Stradivarius 36 tenor trombone is in what we would consider "vintage" territory being nearly 50 years old, and it plays just like you'd expect an early Elkhart Stradivarius to play. It's incredibly responsive, and consistent in all registers. Bach has been making this trombone since 1932, so they must be onto something!

Work-wise, this trombone didn't need much to get prepped for sale. It got here in good shape, and just needed a cleaning in our ultrasonic tank from our professional brass technician. There's no plating wear  on the inner slide, and there's some very minor lacquer wear in a few spots on the outer slide, as well as the bell section and tuning slide. Some scuffs accompany those scratches, primarily on the bell flare and rim. But lacquer wear won't affect playability, so come check this trombone out ASAP! It's a fraction of their brand new alternatives, so don't miss out!
