The Benge 165F Tenor Trombone is an excellent trombone for the student looking for their first large-bore F-attachment horn. It can fit in many musical situations, and the mix of the traditional wrap with the large bore creates a response similar to a smaller-bore trombone. In short, this trombone is very easy to control. 

The trombone's slide is very smooth, and its lacquer has aged beautifully. There are some spots on the bell throat and tuning slides that have a little lacquer wear, and there is evidence of dents that were once in the bell. But any work that was needed for this trombone was handled before it arrived in our shop. Our professional brass technician has inspected this horn and it is ready-to-take-home condition.
