Eastman horns have been around for many years, and have been very consistent and reliable in their design. Their French horns, especially. This model has slightly evolved, with some minor differences in the braces and finger paddles, but this is generally identical to what Eastman is shipping currently. This would be a perfect horn for anyone looking to step up to their first double horn, but don't want to completely drain their wallet.

This horn is in good cosmetic condition, and good playing condition as well. Its lacquer is about 70% intact, with only a few wear spots on the inner bell, and outer bell stem. There's also evidence of a dent that was worked out in the bell rim that was worked out before it arrived here in the shop, and did result in a scar that caused some lacquer to flake off. The horn arrived here in our shop in generally good, clean shape, but there was one brace that needed to be resoldered (connecting the bell stem to the leadpipe), and our professional brass technician also needed to refresh the rotors and slides with some fresh lubricant. It was given our stamp of approval after a long play-test.
