Creation "New York" Tenor Trombone: 

The Antoine Courtois New York series trombones have been developed in collaboration with two outstanding American orchestral players, Paul Denson Pollard for the bass trombone, and Weston Sprott for the tenor trombone, both members of the New York Metropolitan Opera. These two instruments are evolutions of the LEGEND models with many different features such as specially designed leadpipes, venturi and playing slides, different set-ups for the assembling points, as well as an ergonomic handrest.

For the first time in Antoine Courtois’ history, this model is equipped with a specially designed bell with a cut screw ring flare, which enables this instrument to be transported in a deluxe flat case, hardly larger than a viola case, making it much more travel friendly. The screw ring on the bell flare also brings a more compact, focused sound with a lot of projection, which Weston Sprott is particularly pleased with.

• Bell : 8.46’’/215mm hand hammered yellow or rose brass bell, cut bell with screw ring.
• Slide : Brass outer slide with extrusions on the top. Nickel silver hard chrome plated inner slide with brass bottom bow. 
• Valve: F-attachment open wrap, Hagmann valve system with progressive bore.  
• Special features: Ergonomic left hand removable hand support.  
• Outfit: Special designed deluxe flat case with cover and outside detachable pouch, back pack and shoulder strap, mouthpiece, slide grease, oil, and cleaning cloth.

Creation "Paris" Tenor Trombone: 

Antoine Courtois is proud to present its new line of trombones, CREATION PARIS, the culmination of a close collaboration between their French school trombonists and their R&D team located in Germany.

Introducing Courtois' latest invention, the ICON Valve, extremely light with revolutionary dimensions: greater in diameter than traditional valves and not as thick. This new technology allows the ports inside the valves to be made perfectly round without ovalising them as is often the case in other systems. These innovations lend an optimal resonance with perfect ease and consistency of resistance between open notes and notes using valves.

These new models have a rich, elegant sound with forceful yet easy projection. Full of personality, these trombones lend flexibility of interpretation to solo performances, chamber music and symphonic arrangements alike.
