Slide-O-Mix 2-Part Light Trombone Slide Lubricant

Slide-o-Mix Trombone Lubricant gives your slide a fantastic glide. It is a 2-component liquid lubricant (parts A & B), which adheres very well to the slide surface. There is no sticking or stopping of the slide. Slide-o-Mix is very economical in use. Very helpful, especially for beginners, is the fact that no faults in dosing are possible. To meet all different dosing habits, you can get both components of the set also individually.

According to the package directions, "Apply a large drop of liquid from the smaller bottle (part A) to each of the stockings of the inner slide. Spread the liquid by moving the outer slide up and down. Apply some liquid from the larger bottle (part B) to the top of the inner slide, so that it trickles about 10cm down the slide tubes. Then spread this by moving the outer slide. Now spray a little water on the inner slide. Repeat as necessary."

This product is a thinner gliding film for “problem”-slides. It is also available in regular viscosity, or "Classic."

Slide-O-Mix is the lubricant of choice for many internationally well known trombone players and can be found in many well known orchestras.

Note: By judgement of the health authorities in Germany, it is "non toxic for human beings and it is non irritant to mucous membranes". "No sanitary objections against this or against the complete formula exists."

Storage of the Lubricant is ideally at normal room temperature, which also applies for Slide creams. Please protect from frost and also a temperature higher than +60° Celsius should be avoided.
