From Conn-Selmer: "The Bach 180 series trumpets are the number one selling professional trumpets in the world, and they remain the sound choice of artists globally. An incredibly versatile instrument, the 18037 offers everything today's most discriminating players desire. Combining his talents as a musician and an engineer, Vincent Bach created brass instruments of unparalleled quality that are often copied but never duplicated. The 180 series offers depth and color of sound coupled with the even intonation and response a professional player needs. Nothing beats the sound of a Bach."

Features

Excellent for all-around playing, the Bach 180S37 Stradivarius pro trumpet features a standard-weight body and #37 bell to produce a vibrant sound with a large core that allows this trumpet to work well in settings from jazz to concert to solo playing. The #25 leadpipe allows for slight resistance that is effective in centering tone production while the silver-plate finish provides brilliance and clarity to the sound. These features combined with a .459" medium-large bore allow the player to produce a well-rounded sound, suitable for all types of music.

This trumpet came into our repair shop for an ultrasonic cleaning and a play test to ensure it was ready for its new owner. We replaced its missing pull knob and performed minor dentwork. There is some scratches on the bell and plating wear on the piston casing, which are things to be expected of a used instrument. Beyond cosmetics, this is a great player. Stop by our shop to give this horn a play!
