The Conn New Wonder cornet is a really unique instrument. The first distinctive feature is its ability to switch its tuning quickly. It is normally tuned to Bb, but with a patented mechanism from 1914 it can quickly tune to A without needing to swap slides simply by pulling the tuning slide out. It also incorporates Conn's micro tuning wheel for fine adjustment that can be more difficult with a traditional tuning slide. This instrument would be a perfect addition to anyone's vintage horn collection or someone looking for a unique kind of sound in their instrument.

Cosmetically, this instrument is nearly flawless. The engraving on it is beautiful and the plating has no wear to it. There is some minor scratching on the 2nd valve slide, but this instrument is otherwise in great condition after going through our repair shop. It was fully disassembled, given an ultrasonic cleaning, and then was properly lubricated before being reassembled and hand polished.
