Eastman horns have earned themselves a reputation as a popular, affordable instruments that give students everything they need to develop their craft. We've seen many Eastman horns come through our repair shop, but we haven't had many for sale, so we're happy to have a great one here to offer you. As far as used French horns go, this one is in good shape! There's some minor lacquer wear on the inside of the bell, but far less than some of the inner bell wear that we've seen on other horns. There are also some spots of wear on the tuning slide crooks, and some scratches on the back of the bell near the guard. Prior to arriving here, it also looks like there was some soldering work done to the pinky hook, and also to the pipe coming out of the valve section underneath the paddles. 

Our professional brass technician needed to work out some dents from the outer wrap and the bell throat, and also cleaned the horn in our ultrasonic tank. After reassembly and lubrication, our tech play-tested the horn to make sure everything is playing the way it's expected to. This is a great horn on a budget, so be sure to come check it out before someone beats you to it!
