From the Manufacturer:

Eterna Series flugelhorns have been made in Elkhorn, Wisconsin since the 1960s. Since their introduction, the proven designs have cemented themselves firmly in the world of professional-grade flugelhorns.

The Eterna series has been proven to be consistently reliable and affordable, and this reputation has been maintained for many decades. This Eterna Flugelhorn is in fine shape for its age. There are signs of plating-wear on areas of high-contact, such as the area under the first valve where the right thumb would rest and the bottom left-side of the horn, presumably where this particular player's arm would brush upon. There are signs of pitting on the piston casing, likely because this horn was replated at some point in its life. There are also signs of wear on the bell, showing signs of previous dentwork repairs and scratches on the plating. Despite the cosmetic idiosyncrasies, this flugelhorn allows for a classic, warm, velvety sound.

An important note about this instrument's mouthpiece receiver: this flugel uses a mouthpiece with a slightly wider shank than current modern flugelhorn mouthpieces typically come with.

  • Recommended Mouthpieces:
    • Blessing 3FL
    • Yamaha 14F4
