Holton horns offer an alternative in design that creates a great experience for the young or advanced players. The Farkas wrap offers independent tuning for convenience allowing the player to tune the Bb side of the horn seperately from the F side.

The H379 is an artist-quality instrument at a popular price. It has playing characteristics similar to the H179, with good center and projection. Harder nickel silver material responds quickly and sounds brighter up close. Hand-fitted rotary valves are manufactured to precise tolerances to provide quick and effortless response.

This horn is in good cosmetic condition. The lacquer is intact, with only minor flaws in the lacquer at places of high contact. Beyond cosmetics, the horn plays well, allowing for a dark, velvety tone due to the larger throat. Being the sister of the ever popular H179, this model holds the same playing qualities, only differing in the lack of a waterkey. Overall, this is a spectacular option for an advancing musician.
