One of the first ever Leblanc 340 Contrabass clarinets to be made, this instrument is in great condition. It came to our repair shop in need of some repairs. The instrument is fully friction fit, and had become a bit loose over the decades, so our professional woodwind technician spent some time refitting the tenons of the instrument to ensure it fit together properly. It was then fully disassembled, the body was ultrasonically cleaned, and the keys were individually hand polished, before being reassembled. Our tech then made sure all necessary pads were replaced, leveled, and keys were adjusted properly to put this contrabass clarinet back into proper playing condition. It was then given a thorough play test to ensure everything was working properly.
