If you are looking for a Trumpet with a lot of character, come check out the Olds Super Star Trumpet. 
This trumpet is one of the later trumpets that Olds manufactured and was fairly popular in the mid 1970s. This horn has excellent playability for the value and have some unique design features that also stand out from other trumpets in this era. On the mouthpiece receiver, it says "Ultrasonic"; this refers to how Olds manufactured the bell. It was a process that involved an exploding charge that would form the brass tube against a die that would form a seamless bell rather than having a solder seam. One will also notice that the tuning slide bends to the left, this is because the Olds Super Star has interchangeable valves! That means all three valves are the same and there won't be any worry about putting your valves in the wrong spot.

This trumpet is in great condition, but it is seeing some light scratching on the bell and some discoloration on the thumb hook and push rod. It also underwent some dentwork before going up for sale. Lastly, the trumpet received a rigorous cleaning. Our technician took the horn apart and it was cleaned in our ultrasonic tank. Our technician then replaced all necessary springs, felts & waterkey corks; aligned the valves; greased the slides; reassembled & play tested it.
