P. Mauriats have proven to be excellent sellers here in our new saxophone category, and we rarely see used ones come through for sale, which tells us the majority of Mauriat players are keeping these instruments in the long-term. Furthermore, the few used Mauriats we've had here sell quickly, so we recommend making a point of stopping out here and checking this saxophone out, because it certainly won't be here long. The 67R is our best-selling new Mauriat, so a used one in good condition is absolutely worth your attention. 

This is a vintage-inspired saxophone, meaning they took classic designs and used modern innovation to give the sound and response of a classic sax, but offer the feeling and ergonomics of a modern sax. To give it an even more vintage look, it features their signature "dark vintage" finish, which give it a sleek brushed look, and helps darken the instrument's tone a bit, and makes minor cosmetic imperfections less noticeable.

There are a few scratches hiding on this instrument, specifically in the inner bell, the bottom bow, low C key, and thumb rests, but they do not impact playability in any way. Only basic adjustments were needed to prep this instrument for sale, as it arrived in our shop in generally good shape. No pads needed to be replaced. It's original case is included, along with the original stock P. Mauriat and a used Selmer Paris C* mouthpiece with a used Vandoren Optimum ligature.
