The Citation is Rudy Muck's professional level trumpet, often customized to each customer's individualized preference. As for the included mouthpieces, the legendary cushion rim developed by Rudy Muck was described in the marketing brochure at the time as the "most comfortable feature of any mouthpiece in the field today!" Rudy Mucks were being played by prominent jazz musicians including Maynard Ferguson and Bobby Hackett, Nick LaRocca, Nat Adderly, and Maurice Andre. The first few Muck instruments, usually those with 3 or 4-digit serial numbers, were made in New York with some New York Bach parts. This horn went through our repair shop and got the slides greased, the valves oiled, and was cleaned. It was given a play test to ensure it was ready for sale. It is in overall good condition, with some minor wear in the lacquer due to its age. Stop by our shop to give this horn a play!
