Our brass technician performed all the necessary work to get it back into playing shape. It was given a full ultrasonic cleaning and relubrication. Some soldering was done to one of the rotary valve arms. Minor dentwork to take dents out of the first and second bow were done before a final playtest where it was found to be in excellent playing shape. Cosmetically, there is some wear to the finish of the instrument and a few minor dents that we were unable to remove. The case has a broken handle, but the backpack straps are fully functional.
