The rose brass bell has 90% copper, which is the highest content of all brass alloys, gives this horn a beautiful sound. The XO also has a comfortable design of the 3rd valve trigger adding to some extra functionality. It also features monel pistons, a tunable nickel silver leadpipe and a handcrafted one piece bell.

This flugel arrived here in very good condition, but it did need to have some dents in the back of the bell worked out along with needing a full cleaning. The cleaning was performed in an ultrasonic bath and the horn was disassembled and all parts were further scrubbed. The tech then replaced any springs, felts & waterkey corks before aligning the valves and greasing the slides. It also got a hand-polish to brighten up the beautiful silver plating.
