The YSL-354 is an incredibly reliable and durable student-level instrument.  It is a responsive trombone, and has a small bore to help new player start playing. Yamaha instruments are know for their quality builds and their student line is no different. 

This trombone has been maintained regularly by our professional brass technician taking care of anything it needed at any time. It's been cleaned annually, and dents have been removed as they've appeared. Cosmetically, the lacquer is noticeably worn on this instrument. The slide has about 50% of its lacquer still intact, and the bell has about 80% left intact, as well as some scratches in the bell throat and flare, which would make this a good candidate for a lacquer strip if a new owner was interested. Our technician also needed to install a patch on the main tuning slide. None of these blemishes will affect the playability of the instrument!
