Haynes flutes have boasted incredible build quality for generations, making instruments that last for multiple generations, which is why we usually have several in stock! This flute's headjoint, body, and keys are all made of solid silver, and overall, everything is in great shape. Some keys are showing signs of use, and there are some light surface scratches on the back of the flute's body near the bottom tenon, which all should be expected from an instrument over 60 years old! 

Our professional flute technician adjusted this instrument up and down, oiled every mechanism, replaced any necessary springs, and replaced several pads as well. Once it was polished, it got a long play-test and was brought up to our retail department for sale. It's ready for you, so come by and try out!
