The M series of Schilke trumpets came to be from a collaboration between Schilke and Yamaha in the 1970s through early 1980s. These horns featured design characteristics of both Schilke and Yamaha horns, such as Schilke bells and leadpipes, and Yamaha spit valves and slide rings. These intermediate horns make a great choice for advancing players looking for their next step-up instrument.

This horn came to us in good shape. It needed some minor dent work around the bell and an ultrasonic cleaning from our professional brass technician. Once it was reassembled and relubricated, it was given a final playtest and was found to be in excellent playing condition.
