Not much needs to be said about the Selmer-Paris Mark VI tenor. If you're here looking at this instrument, you're doing it because you know what you're looking at. Widely considered the "holy grail" of vintage tenor saxophones, this Mark VI is a later model, and was maintained beautifully by its previous owner. Additionally, the previous owner was the sole owner of this saxophone before it wound up here in our shop.
There's no evidence to suggest that this horn was ever damaged or required any sort of major service over the course of its lifetime, and the only blemishes to be found are from use. We see some mild scratches on the back of the instrument near the thumb rest, and some acid bleed is beginning to show underneath the Eb key guard. It's in absolutely excellent shape for its age, and it comes with possibly the best mouthpiece collection we've seen come in with a used horn. Be sure to look into the mouthpieces listed above. They add some serious value to this outfit.
Our professional saxophone technician only needed to perform minor work to get this saxophone prepped and ready for sale. No pads needed to be replaced, and only a few minor adjustments needed to be made to the upper stack. Cosmetically and functionally, this horn will not disappoint. It would be a fantastic addition to anyone's collection, so be sure to stop by Horn Stash today and spend some time with it, because it won't be here long.
