The Yamaha YEP-321 has proven to be one of the most, if not the most, reliable intermediate non-compensating euphonium an advancing euphonium player could learn on. Ask any euphonium player you can find, and chances are they've spent time with a YEP-321. They sound great, feel great, and they're work-horse instruments that will last a long time even after being in use for many years. Any parent looking to help their euphonium player take their playing to the next level should absolutely consider this horn. There are places to go beyond the YEP-321, but this will absolutely get the job done in a school setting, or in a casual playing setting as well.

Our professional brass technician gave this horn an ultrasonic cleaning, as well as did some minor dent work around the body and bell. There are some minor scratches from standard wear around places of high contact, as well as one spot of missing plating on the front tubing, none of which affect the great sound and playability of the horn. Overall, this instrument is in great shape and has a lot of life left to give in a new home.
