"The H378 has similar playing characteristics to those of the H178 with a bright, compact feel and outstanding tonal beauty. Medium throat bell provides a singing tone with fine legato characteristics. Yellow brass produces a higher tone color and clearer projection. Independent Bb main tuning slide allows for increased tuning flexibility."

Our brass technician did a lot of work to get this Holton H378 ready for sale. This horn was thoroughly cleaned and scrubbed in an ultrasonic bath, and oiled and lubed. Our tech also worked out some troublesome dents in the slide. This H378 also had the mouthpiece receiver replaced. This required solder & cleanup to attach the receiver and leadpipe to the body. The horn's original lacquer is mostly intact, but you can see some wear on the inside of the bell and on the tuning slides. If you can look past some of the aesthetic blemishes, this is a great horn for anyone looking for an upgrade from a single horn!
