Wanting to play on a vintage saxophone with unique key design and a storied history? Then come check out this Wurlitzer American Alto Sax! This is known as a 'stencil' horn; the Buescher company actually manufactured this horn and the Wurlitzer company then sold this horn with their name engraved in it. But, what kind of Buescher saxophone is this? Due to the serial number, unique bow design, pearl G# key, Fork Eb and lack of front F, this is a Buescher True Tone II Alto sax that was sold by Wurlitzer.
Once arriving here, our professional woodwind technicians got to work on this saxophone right away. This saxophone saw nearly a full repad and dents were worked out of the body and neck! There are some scratches in the body that one would expect from a vintage saxophone and many of the keys are seeing some discoloration. Despite these small blemishes, the horn is in great condition! Our technician also performed an ultrasonic cleaning on this instrument and finishing with a hand polish.
Come to Horn Stash and try this awesome Wurlitzer American Alto Sax. This is one of our oldest instruments in our inventory, so collectors should stop in and try it out!
